Jewelry with natural flowers
At MONOD, we create handcrafted jewelry with preserved natural flowers. Real flowers that retain their shape and beauty, transformed one by one into earrings, necklaces, rings, brooches and other unique pieces.
Every flower is different. Its subtle nuances, irregularities and color variations become part of the jewelry, making it impossible for two pieces to be exactly alike.
From our workshop in Barracas, Castellón, Spain, we design and handcraft each piece, combining natural flowers with silver, 18k gold-plated finishes, brass, pearls and other carefully selected materials.
What are preserved flowers?
Preserved flowers are natural flowers that have undergone a treatment to maintain their appearance for a long time without the need for water.
They are not artificial flowers or imitations. They retain the flower’s natural characteristics: its shape, petals and the subtle differences that make each one special.
At MONOD, we work with different varieties, especially hydrangeas and orchids, selecting each flower for its size, shape and color before incorporating it into a design.
From flower to jewelry
Our process begins long before the piece is assembled.
We study each flower, select the petals and consider how best to work with its natural shape. From there, we build the piece, seeking a balance between volume, movement, lightness and comfort.
We do not try to make every flower identical. What matters to us is preserving what makes each one unique.
That is why a MONOD piece is not simply jewelry with a floral motif: the flower itself is part of the design.
Are the flowers in MONOD jewelry natural?
Yes. The flowers used in our preserved-flower collections are real, natural flowers.
We work with them by hand, transforming an extremely delicate material into jewelry that can be worn and enjoyed.
Each product page specifies the flowers and materials used, as MONOD also creates collections using other techniques and materials.
Is every piece unique?
Nature makes it impossible to produce two exactly identical flowers.
There may be slight differences in tone, size or shape from one piece to another, even within the same design. To us, these are not imperfections: they are part of the character of jewelry made with a natural material.
That uniqueness is part of MONOD’s identity.
Lightweight jewelry made to be worn, not just admired
Weight is one of our priorities when designing.
Many of our pieces have strong visual impact while remaining surprisingly lightweight, something especially important in larger earrings.
We design jewelry for celebrations, weddings and special occasions, but also to transform a simple dress or become the piece you want to wear again and again.

Natural flowers have a special place at weddings and celebrations.
Hydrangeas, orchids and other flowers become earrings, hair combs and jewelry that add color and personality beyond conventional jewelry.

Where is MONOD jewelry made?
All our pieces are designed and handcrafted in our workshop in Barracas, Castellón, in the Valencian Community, Spain.
MONOD – Joyas de Flores is the project of artisan and Fine Arts graduate Inma Mañes and holds the official Craftsmanship Certification of the Valencian Community, no. 6350.
Behind every piece is a process of material selection, composition, assembly and numerous small steps carried out by hand.
How long do preserved flowers last?
Preserved flowers can retain their beauty for a long time with a few simple care measures.
Avoid contact with water, perfumes and chemicals, protect them from prolonged sun exposure, and store them in a dry place when not in use.
As they are a natural material, we also recommend avoiding knocks and unnecessary handling.
A different approach to floral jewelry
MONOD was born from the search for a different way to wear flowers.
We do not want to reproduce a flower in metal or imitate it with another material. We want to work with the flower itself, respecting its shape and making it part of a contemporary piece.
The result is handcrafted, lightweight and distinctive jewelry in which nature and design come together in a single piece.
Because when we work with a real flower, every piece begins as something unique before it even reaches our hands.
